Deck Part Deux

We already had the umbrella, table and chairs and I just threw a bunch
of the PB pillows on the chairs so that it would hopefully look like the
entire deck goes together
The other end of the deck is up against the top of a NJ "mountain"
I grew up in Calif so am unimpressed with what they claim to be a
mountain in NJ. Big girl dog doesn't seem to mind and at least on this side
we have pretty views of the woods and the wildlife that lives on this part of
property.

Hiding the Villa

We redid our deck...I wanted to block our view of the "Villa" across the
the street...they built the villa so that we see a long row of garages, which
when lit at night looks like a fancy gas station... it even has security cameras hanging from the corners of the eaves. It's someone else idea of being swanky but makes me think snarky thoughts.

We hung curtains across the one side of the deck...I love them, BUT you can still

SEE the VILLA's ugly ass until I close the curtain

Both our poodles enjoy the deck and being poodles they also love

getting their pics taking and sitting on the best chair in the house

Being lazy I ordered almost everything online from the easy places PB, RH ( before they go belly up) And because we only have maybe two good months a year here I did bright colors. Hoping the brightness will make up for the gloominess the rest of the year...

dining delimma...BIG BLANK WALL

I was thinking of doing the last blank wall with plates too, but having them run across the wall horizontally. I am still waiting for silk drapes to be finished for the two windows.
The Greek key trim runs around the top of the chair rail

how do I finish the last wall in this room. Its big and very blank! I am totally over prints and would like to do something different.
does anyone have suggestions?
