The Reason Why...

The couch faces out into the room because...
The wall opposite has all the wiring for the ALL MIGHTY TV and is at a perfect angle for my husband to view while he sleeps on the couch. The piece the tv sits on is much too small for it. I would love a diff piece or even think about hanging the tv on the wall. Of course husband opines that we need a much bigger tv before we can do that. What do you think? Also any ideas on something huge to hang on the wall next to the telly? We are going to be in Paris in a few weeks any good ideas to pick up there?
These chairs are directly across the room from the fireplace...
Note how a poodle always manages to get into pictures. I guess he thinks he is simply faboo!

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I really like your updated Family Room. My, it's big. I have a huge entertainment center. It's actually really beautiful, but it is the room. You may be able to go back on my blog and check it out. Your room could handle something substantial like that. It could always have room for a bigger TV. I guess you need to determine what you'd do with the wall if you mount the TV. You could probably do some sort of good looking storage system that didn't scream TV, a place for books, photos and collectables. Just a suggestion.

Hey, DJ, I did not use high heat paint, just plain black satin that I had around. I try to keep that stuff on hand, cause black just comes in handy for so many projects.

When/if we do have a fire with our gas logs, I'll just move it out of the way.
